On 16 December 2024,1 will hand over my duties as President to President-Elect Dr Rok Öeferin. At the same time, Dr NeŽa Kogovšek Šalamon will assume the position of Vice President of the Constitutional Court. Over the past three years, one of the most enriching and rewarding aspects of my role has been the opportunity to collaborate with esteemed colleagues and institutions such as yours. This collaboration has not only deepened the professional ties between our Courts but also deepened my appreciation for - and grasp of - the common challenges we are called upon to meet. I am convinced that these institutional bonds will continue to flourish in the future, fostering cooperation and mutual support.
