Dear Mr President,
I am pleased to inform you that the Supreme Administrative Court of Poland is going
to hold a cõnference in Warsaw on the occasion of the anniversary of the opening for
signature of the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.
The conference will be a forum for the presidents of the Supreme Administrative Courts or
their representatives from our region of Europe.
The initiative of holding such a conference has gained a support of Marko Bošnjak,
the president of the European Court of Human fughts. A delegation of the Strasbourg Court
judges, including the President of the Court, intends to participate.
The conference under the topic: ,,75th anniversary of the ECHR and administrative
court judges" will be held from 1 to 2 Octob er 2025.It will commence on the l't of October
(Wednesõay) with the dinner, and on the following day, on the 2"d of october (Thursday) the
main event is planned - seminar at the Royal Castle, followed by a dinner. The seminar could
give us an opportunity to reflect on the Convention's pivotal role in upholding the rule of law
änd democräõy in Europe. It could also be an opportunity to exchange our experience on
application of the European Convention on Human fughts and to evaluate its impact on the
administrative court judges' work.
The detailed programme of the conference will be agreed with the Strasbourg Court at
a later stage. Due to budgetary constraints, the working language of the conference will be
English only. The invitatiõn includes two representatives from each Supreme Administrative
Court.

for organisational reasons, I would appreciate confirmation of your attendance as soon as
possible.
