Dear Erkki Keldo, The CLIMTrade project at the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, invites you and your organisation to take part in an expert survey, led by Prof. Manfred Elsig. The goal of the survey is to gain an insight into how trade policy may be used for climate action. The data and information we collect from the survey will serve as an important first step to understand experts’ views in this key area as they shape policy-making. We invite you and your organisation to participate because of your expertise and focus on trade and environmental topics. The survey takes 10-15 minutes to complete. Within, you will be asked questions about trade and climate policy in general, in addition to specific trade instruments that could be used to combat climate change. The survey also features a conjoint experiment, wherein you will be asked to choose between two hypothetical trade policies, based on a fixed set of characteristics. Even if you do not feel that you are an expert in both these field, we still value your response. You will also be asked to indicate your level of expertise on both trade and climate policy. Please click <https://tinyurl.com/bdzkfdv7> here to take the survey. You can also scan the QR code below.
