The Director-General is hereby informing States Parties of the outcome of said procedure: (a) No objections were received to the proposed corrections to the Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish texts of the IHR, as presented in the Annexes to C.L.13.2025. Accordingly, those corrections are deemed adopted by all States Parties to the IHR, in accordance with decision WHA78(24) (2025). These corrections will be reflected in the consolidated Arabic, French, Russian and Spanish texts of the IHR published on the WHO website in due course. (b) With respect to the Chinese text of the IHR, the People’s Republic of China submitted alternative corrections to certain of the proposed corrections presented in the relevant Annex to C.L. 13.2025, as well as additional proposed corrections. These ... alternative and additional proposed corrections are presented in the Annex to this Circular Letter. No objections were received to the other corrections to the Chinese text of the IHR, as presented in the Annexes to C.L. 13.2025. Accordingly, those corrections are deemed adopted by all States Parties to the IHR, in accordance with decision WHA78(24) (2025), and will be reflected in the consolidated Chinese text of the IHR following completion of the correction procedure referred to in paragraph (b). Any objection to the aforementioned alternative and additional proposed corrections to the Chinese text of the IHR, presented in the Annex to this Circular Letter, must be communicated in writing to the Director-General ([email protected]) within ninety (90) days from the date of the present communication, i.e. no later than 17 February 2026. Any objection received thereafter shall have no effect. In the absence of receipt by the above-mentioned date of any written objection, the proposed alternative and additional corrections to the Chinese text of the IHR will be deemed adopted by all States Parties to the IHR, in accordance with decision WHA78(24) (2025). The Director-General of the World Health Organization takes this opportunity to renew to States Parties to the International Health Regulations (2005) the assurance of his highest consideration.
