Dear Minister Joller,
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine presents its compliments to the
Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Estonia and wishes to express its
sincere gratitude for the Ministry’s participation in the International Medical
Partnership Forum: From Doctor to Doctor, held on 9–10 October 2025 in Kyiv.
The Ministry was honoured by the presence of Ms Anniki Lai, Deputy
Secretary General on Health, and Ms Mariken Ross, Specialised Medical Care
Policy Lead. Their attendance was a valued demonstration of Estonia’s continued
commitment to supporting Ukraine’s healthcare recovery and to strengthening
international medical cooperation.
Organised under the auspices of the First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska,
the Forum gathered more than 150 participants from 19 countries – ministers,
medical professionals, hospital leaders, and diplomatic representatives – to mark two
years of the International Medical Partnership initiative. A major outcome of the
event was the signing of eight new memorandums of cooperation in oncology,
rehabilitation, perinatal medicine, and specialised care, bringing the total number of
active international partnerships up to 100.
