Dear President,
We have been informed that Mr João Cura Mariano assumed office as President of the Supreme Court of Justice of Portugal on 4 June 2024.
President Cura Mariano has been serving as a judge since 1986. Before becoming a Member of the Supreme Court of Justice in November 2020 he had worked in different first and second instance courts and served as Judge of the Constitutional Court of Portugal (2007–2016). Please kindly find attached the biographical notice and the photo of the new President.

Nous venons d’être informés de ce que M. João Cura Mariano a pris ses fonctions de président de la Cour suprême de justice du Portugal le 4 juin 2024.
M. le président Cura Mariano est juge depuis 1986. Avant de devenir membre de la Cour suprême de justice en novembre 2020, il a travaillé dans différentes juridictions de première et deuxième instance et a été membre de la Cour constitutionnelle du Portugal (2007–2016). Nous vous prions de bien vouloir trouver ci-joint la notice biographique et la photo du nouveau président.
