ETAG24044 extension request
Dear Katrin Piller,
On behalf of the Tallinn University of Technology as a partner in the project “EAGER: Adaptive
Infrastructure Recovery from Repeated Shocks through Resilience Stress Testing in Ukraine” (Grant No.
ETAG24044), I kindly request an extension of the project duration without additional funding.
The project coordinator at the University of Florida has consulted all project partners regarding the
possibility of extending the project timeframe to align the completion of results better and to ensure
effective coordination of final outputs and knowledge transfer activities.
The primary reason for the requested extension is the delayed project start for the partner from Ukraine
(G.E. Pukkov Institute for Modeling in Energy Engineering NAS of Ukraine), which was caused by a delay
in the arrival of funding from the USA. This has impacted the overall project schedule and the
synchronisation of partner contributions.
We therefore propose extending the project end date until 30 June 2026. The extension would not
change the project scope, deliverables, or budget, and it would not require any additional funding from
ETAG. The additional time would be used solely to complete the planned activities, finalise deliverables,
and conduct coordinated dissemination and knowledge transfer in line with the project objectives.
With kind regards,
Mart Landsberg
