Dear mr Dekelbaum
Thank you for presenting project idea called Jõhvi Urban Public
space. The nature of this idea is quite perfectly matching with the
purposes of Estonian regional development policy to create attractive
business and living environment in Ida-Virumaa.
Although the full financing of the reconstruction work of shown
buildings seems to be quite challenging, some part of it could be in
principal eligible from some regional measures, financed by national
budget or european structural funds.
Some examples:
- KOP programme:

- MATA programme:
http://ivol.kovtp.ee/regionaalsete-investeeringute-programm
(co-operation with local municipality is necessary to promote the idea
on the county level and get the project identified in the action plan of
Ida-Virumaa Development Strategy)
- New european structural fund measures starting from 2021 to
support investments in sustainable urban development. The structure and
specific conditions of the measures will be worked out and published
2019/2020.
I also would suggest to contact with Startup Estonia team, they are
active in building up startup community in Ida-Viru county, so there
could be some possibilities for partnership.

I represent Linnaprojektid MTÜ (Urban Projects NGO), and we just
started one project named Jõhvi Urban Public Space.
It's about Social development, Education, Art and Tech. Detailed
description and sponsorship package draft in attachements.
We are planning to build here, in Jõhvi and Ida-Virumaa, strong
Culture, Art & IT relations and communities; educate people and open
perspectives for tourism & business.
So I have a question, could you please review our project and provide
us with the information on funding possibilities.
We strongly need an advice on this!
