Extension of the deadline of the
assurance package
Dear Mr Sébert,
We would kindly ask for the extension of the deadline for the submission of the documents in
the assurance package to be presented for the accounting year from July 1st 2024 to June 30th
2025 as some audits of operations are still being finalised. The finalisation of these activities
would allow us to provide a more qualitative assurance documents but would extend the
deadline of their submission.
The Article 98(1) of the Common Provisions Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 2021/1060)
states that the Member State shall submit the assurance package documents to the Commission
by 15 February of the following year. The deadline of 15 February may exceptionally be
extended by the Commission to 1st March, upon communication by the Member State
concerned in the line with Article 98(2).
Please let us know if the extension of the deadline of all the documents to be presented in the
assurance package until 1st of March 2026 is possible for the operational programme
CCI No: 2021EE16FFPR001 - Programme for Cohesion Policy Funds 2021-2027.
