We greatly appreciate the patches from your department that you kindly enclosed with your letter. We are pleased to send you the following three patches: Our standard-issue patch, which is worn on all our uniforms. Regarding the patch featuring a key beneath a rising sun, it was indeed once officially used by the Estonian Prison Service. According to the information we were able to obtain, it was in use during the 1990s. However, it is no longer in service, and unfortunately, we have not been able to establish exactly when its use was discontinued.
