At the time, it decided that the meeting of experts would aim to agree on technical conclusions clarifying the scope and key elements of ergonomics hazards within the framework of the ILO and in line with current scientific knowledge. The Meeting would be composed of eight experts nominated after consultation with Governments, eight Employer experts nominated after consultation with the Employers’ group and, eight Worker experts nominated after consultation with the Workers’ group, as well as advisers and observers, as provided for under the Standing Orders for Meetings of Experts. In this regard, the Office would like to invite you to a meeting on Tuesday, 22 September, from 11:00 to 12:00 noon in room X at ILO headquarters, to present the proposed criteria for identifying the governments to be invited to nominate an expert.
