This is a friendly reminder for invitation to the seminar this week! We
invite you to attend the online seminar titled "Fundamentals of SAF" on
November 19, from 12:00 to 13:30.
To receive access to the seminar to please register for the workshop by
November 18. Further information on the workshop and the registration link
is available <https://forms.microsoft.com/r/0HtWsEeNVe> here. If you have
already registered for the event - thank you!
After the registration you will receive a calendar invitation to join the
online training.
(Please note that November 17 and November 18 are public holidays in
Latvia, thus for last minute registrations the link to the online training
will be sent early on November 19.)
The objective is to introduce government employees to the fundamentals of
SAF and green energy, with a particular focus on their benefits. It will
equip seminar participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to
support SAF and green energy projects.
Seminar is organised as part of the project "Developing Technological
Solutions and Production Possibilities for Sustainable Aviation Fuel in
Estonia and Latvia," implemented with the support of the Technical Support
Instrument (TSI) of the European Commission’s Reform and Investment Task
Force (SG REFORM). The aim of the project is to explore the potential for
SAF production in Estonia and Latvia and to provide recommendations for a
comprehensive policy framework to increase SAF availability.
The seminar is organised by the project implementer,
PricewaterhouseCoopers AS (PwC), in cooperation with the Project
Beneficiary – the Ministry of Climate.
