Teema: küsimus Postimehelt Eesti FAA reitingu kohta
Kuupäev: 2024-04-19 14:30
Tere.
Teadaolevalt on Läti ja Leedu saavutanud USA lennundusorganilt FAAlt
kategooriasse 1 paigutamise, mis annab nende lennukompaniidele
teoreetiliselt õiguse USAsse lennata. Leedu jaoks tuli uudis väga
värskelt:

ed-to-fly-to-us#:~:text=According%20to%20the%20Transport%20and,into%20the%

Eesti ei ole FAA esimeses kategoorias. Kuuldavasti on mõned lennufirmad
(näiteks Smartlynx) seetõttu ka oma lennukeid Eesti registrist minema
viimas.
Küsimusi:
Miks ei ole Eesti FAA jaoks esimeses kategoorias, mis on saanud
takistuseks?
Millal töö esimesse kategooriasse paigutamiseks algas ja kuhu see tänaseks
on jõudnud?
Millist mõju avaldab see, et Eesti ei ole FAA esimeses kategoorias (neid
riike on Euroopa Liidus näputäis) Eesti lennundusele?

* Category 1 means the air carriers from the assessed state may
initiate or continue service to the United States in a normal manner and
take part in reciprocal code-share arrangements with U.S. carriers.
*
Category 2 means the air carriers from the assessed state cannot
initiate new service and are restricted to current levels of any existing
service to the United States while corrective actions are underway.
