Dear Colleagues, Thank you very much for the confirmations received so far regarding participation in the 9th Friends of Industry Ministerial Conference to be held in Warsaw on 26 October 2026. We very much look forward to welcoming all participating Member States and kindly encourage those who have not yet confirmed their participation to do so as soon as possible. At the same time, we would like to share some practical information, including important deadlines for providing the information required in preparation for the Conference. We would be grateful if you could take these timelines into account when planning the necessary follow-up on your side. We would also like to take this opportunity to share a few updates on the preparations for the Conference: * We are currently finalising the first draft of the Declaration, which will be circulated to Member States for consultation by Friday or at latest on Monday. * Next week we will also circulate a more detailed agenda, including the topics to be addressed during the sessions. * A background paper setting out the key questions for discussion will also be prepared to support the debates during the Conference. Schedule The opening session will begin at 11:00 a.m. To ensure a smooth registration process, all delegations are kindly requested to arrive no later than 10:45 a. m. The conference is expected to conclude at 3:30 p.m. Please inform us by 1 6 October of the expected arrival time of your delegation. Working language The working language of the meeting will be English only . Registration and security For security and registration purposes, please provide us in advance with the following details for all participants: name and surname ; position ; licence plate information for cars wishing to enter and park on the premises of the Warsaw Stock Exchange; information on whether any participant will be carrying a firearm.
