Dear Sirs, I am a specialist of branches of foreign-based companies at Swedish Companies Registration Office (Bolagsverket) and hope you can help me in this matter. When a Estonian company wants to register a branch in Sweden, Swedish law require a Certificate of registration and a Certificate showing clearly that the foreign-based company is not in bankruptcy. During all years we have received such a document from our Estonian customers, but now a few of them say that it is not possible to receive such a document any longer. As several of our customers around the world often think it is not possible to fulfill this requirement, we hope you can help us to clearify wether you still issue such documents, perhaps in other forms then before? If the Certificate is electronic or of another kind nowadays we would appreciate your information about that as we most likely can accept such documents as long as they show that the company is not in bankruptcy.
