Specimen(s) description Hardboards with dimensions of 50 x 50 mm, glued into metal testing blocks with Loctite Original super glue. Before testing the specimens were conditioned to relative humidity of 65% and a temperature of 20°C. Test description Specimens were placed between the grips and during the testing a force is applied until the rupture of the specimens occured. The maximum load should be reached within 60 ± 30 s. The test speed was 2 mm/min. Test parameters Test Machine ZwickRoell Z050 Test type EN 319:2000 Test date 21.11.2025 Test results Tensile strength (𝑓𝑡 ) is calculated using the next formula: 𝐹 𝑚𝑎𝑥 𝑓𝑡 = 𝑎∗𝑏 Table 1 below shows all the testing results.
