Thank you all for your quick answers, hope you are all fine!
Referring to your answers, it seems that we all agree that postponing the meeting is the best solution at the
moment. So unfortunately we have to cancel the meeting in Helsinki 16.-18.6.2020 and after seeing the way in
which the situation is developing we can find a new date, hopefully later this year. Then we can also agree a
new date for the documents. Of course you can send your proposals all the time.

Hope you are all well!
Because of the current situation, we would like to suggest to postpone the 39th Baltic MoU Conference in
Helsinki and meet later this year. If you all agree, we can rearrange the meeting date after seeing how
circumstances are developing during this spring and summer. After that we can also set a new date for the
documents. Please comment as soon as possible and hopefully we are able to meet this autumn!

Aihe: Extension of the DL for the papers : Documents to the 39th Baltic MoU Conference in Helsinki 16.-

Dear colleagues,
Due to the current situation (Korona virus) I have received a question concerning the extension of the deadline
for submitting papers to Baltic MoU Conference in Helsinki next summer. According to the Baltic MoU
appendix 2, paragraph 8, papers should be submitted 3 months before meeting, which is 15 th of March this
time. Situation in world in now very exceptional because of the Korona virus and as far as I understand, it is
possible for us to change the date with common decision. So if this is, the new dead line for the documents is
15th April. I can also share all the papers which are submitted earlier, as soon as they arrive.
If no one is against the change, I suggest that we will change the dead line for the papers to be 15th April 2020.
At the moment we are still going to arrange the Conference as planned, but of course we follow the situation
and if needed, we will cancel the Conference.
