Patrick Wall already send you a link to the presentations that were presented during the workshop. Herewith you receive additional information and some homework: 1. The overview presentation to be used for internal and external purpose when presenting EP- GSE, now as a PowerPoint presentation (see attachment); 2. A brief summary of the meeting with Jeroen Schuppers, Deputy Head of the Clean Energy Transition Unit in DG R&I (see attachment);  3. Letter of Intent (template) for your survey (please return as soon as reasonably possible) or to provide to any additional partner you deem appropriate; 4. Any feed-back (modification or addition) you have to the content of the 2nd draft proposal – Please submit before February 25th; 5. Financial homework (see attachment). While the table showing different scenarios may seem a little complex, the main line in bold concerns the final percentage of EU funding your Survey will receive when participating in projects under the EP-GSE, taking into account a number of factors within each scenario. It is important to note the varying degrees of funding to ‘non-core partners’ and how it affects the funding rates to ‘core partners’ – here you can see that the possibility of non-core partners that might be essential to the outcome of the project but who cannot provide their own in-kind funding is taken into account, where they are provided 100% funding. However, as core partners, we can set limitations on how much of the overall budget these non-core partners may be eligible for (see last row within table). The alternative suggestion is that all non-core partners bring the same rate of in-kind contribution as the core partners, however it is apparent that this may limit the number of interested parties (e.g. could be difficult for universities).
