Invitation to Participate in the “Digital Bridges” Project Kick-Off Meeting held in Tallinn, Estonia
on 06 and 07th of November 2025 at Tallinn University of Technology
On behalf of the Department of Software Science, School of IT at Tallinn University of Technology
(TalTech), it is my pleasure to extend an official invitation to the kick-off meeting of the “Digital Bridges”
project, to be held 6–7 November 2025 in Tallinn, Estonia.
Digital Bridges — formally, Towards more digital and inclusive participatory societies in the South-
Mediterranean region: interdisciplinary Master’s degree in digital governance — is a 36-month capacity-
building initiative under Erasmus+ that brings together EU and South-Mediterranean higher education
institutions and NGOs to co-create an innovative, interdisciplinary Master’s programme in digital
governance and to establish practice-oriented HUBs that link universities with public bodies, SMEs, and
civic-tech actors.
TalTech is renowned for its commitment to excellence in technological education and research, and we
believe that participation in Digital Bridges will offer an exceptional opportunity for partners to enhance
their capabilities in digital governance, inclusive digital transformation, and interdisciplinary programme
design. Over the course of this three-year collaboration, participants will engage in practical co-creation
sessions—covering curriculum development, piloting, and HUB establishment—alongside networking
activities led by esteemed faculty members and industry/public-sector experts. These interactions will enable
participants to build strong professional networks and gain actionable insights from Estonia’s digital
ecosystem as well as the wider academic and civic-tech communities involved in the project.
Please note that travel and other costs will be covered by the participants' organizations.
Thank you for your attention to this matter, and we eagerly anticipate welcoming you at TalTech in Estonia.
Yours sincerely,
Dr. Ingrid Pappel
