The ship is in working order, but it is already old, so it is time to replace it with a new one. It would be important for the whole Baltic Sea region if we received EU aid with the support of EMSA for the construction / acquisition of a new ship; 2) Estonia has a sea area Väinameri (very environmentally sensitive) its depth is mostly less than 5 m, which makes it difficult to use oil pollution collection equipment what is usable in big sea areas, as the Gulf of Finland. Booms and other equipment that can be used specifically for shallow sea areas and can handled with smaller vessels could be developed and good place for store is the port of Rohuküla or Virtsu; 3) The ability of a tanker to receive offshore collected oil from spill response ships during a spill response operation so that ships do not have to come to port to give away collected oil spill; 4) Purchase new skimmers at EMSA's warehouse in Porvoo, Finland, designed to pick up (what's called) hybrid oil, a new generation of oil products. These new skimmers should also be designed and ready for use on anti-pollution vessels; 5) Purchase new skimmers to EMSA's warehouse in Porvoo, designed to pick up (what's called) hybrid oil, a new generation of oil products. These new skimmers should also be designed and ready for use on anti-pollution vessels; 6) The use of drones in the detection of oil spill is rapidly developing. Because the success of oil spill control is directly dependent on the speed at which pollution is detected and identified, we can direct the development of drones so that the so-called autonomous container stations are deployed 24/7 for usage and can be remotely operated from rescue centers; 7) It would be necessary to acquire marine pollution identification equipment for aircraft and ships, i.e. to immediately understand what pollution (substance in the sea) is. Through this information, it is possible to more quickly understand and react appropriately and to involve the relevant capabilities; 8) Suggest to EMSA to keep up contract with shipping companies (equipping them with oil spill recovery equipment) to cover the northern Baltic Sea in the event of a major accident. As far as we know, the Estonian Ministry of the Environment is also coming forward with proposals in the near future.
