Dear Mr. Gailan,
I am pleased to invite you to participate in the event International Digital Connectivity Summit, Georgia 2022 - Developing
inter-regional connectivity and digital services corridors on September 14, 2022, in Tbilisi, Georgia at the Radisson Blu
Iveria Hotel (First Republic Square 1, Tbilisi, 0108, Georgia) organized by the Ministry of Economy and Sustainable
Development of Georgia, in collaboration with the Georgian National Communications Commission and the World Bank Group.
The event will provide an opportunity to present the potential to develop the South Caucasus region as a major node on inter-
regional digital connectivity networks between Europe and Asia by improving international internet connectivity, highlight
investment and international collaboration opportunities that emerge, and Georgia’s role in facilitating the development of these
corridors.
The success of any major international connectivity initiative requires a multi-stakeholder approach with a long-term vision as to
the scale of the opportunity, coordination among sector stakeholders in the region and beyond, and readiness to effectively
mobilize resources towards realizing the potential opportunities through partnerships and international collaboration.
The event will serve as a platform to convene sector stakeholders from the South Caucasus and neighboring regions to explore the
potential to develop international digital connectivity corridors between Europe and Asia, identify and discuss key opportunities
and challenges to developing stronger international digital connectivity in the South Caucasus, as well as identify investment and
collaboration opportunities between sector stakeholders. For information about the event and registration, visit the link:
