Dear Sir or Madam,
I am contacting you on behalf of the Law and Internet Foundation (LIF) which is an NGO and a Research Centre, based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Following an EU-wide open call for tender, LIF is currently carrying out a project lead jointly by the Fundamental Rights Agency and the Council of Europe to draft a Handbook on European law relating to cybercrime and fundamental rights.
For this reason, LIF is in the process of collecting national use cases and case law from legal practitioners, which highlight how fundamental rights are incorporated into national practices, following international standards and jurisprudence.
To this end, as an expert in the field, we would like to request your assistance in the provision of available information on the topic, and more specifically in relation to how the investigation and prevention of cybercrime are handled in your country. Any information you provide will be treated as confidential.
For the purpose of this request, please find attached to this email a Letter of Reference by FRA, as well as a Case-law Data Collection Template that we would be grateful for you to fill in and send back to LIF at your earliest convenience.
Kind regards,
Denitsa Kozhuharova
Head of Human Rights Department
