Following the International Conference held on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the
1922 Constitution of the State of Lithuania and the 30th anniversary of the 1992 Constitution of the
Republic of Lithuania, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation that our
Constitutional Court had the honour and pleasure to celebrate with you, Mr Chief Justice, and the
delegation of your Court the landmark anniversaries of the greatest importance to the State of Lithuania.
I hope that the Conference “From the National Constitution to Transnational Constitutionalism”
provided considerable and relevant opportunity of exchanging views and producing meaningful insights.
Let me thus convey my sincerest gratitude for your valuable contribution – brilliant participation in the
discussion of the first session of the Conference, enabling us to have both professional and friendly
conversations and ultimately positive experience as a result of meeting in person.

It was a great pleasure to finally meet you! Thank you once more for all the special arrengements you made for our delegation, everything was wonderful!
I feel sorry that I didn´t have a chance to say goodbye yesterday, but I hope the dinner went great and you will finally have some time to rest and take a break from all this organizing :)
As requested by Jolita, I will also send Villu's presentation shortly.
