ADDITIONAL VACANCY FOR AN IHO REPRESENTATIVE

Dear Hydrographer,
1. Since release of Reference A, requesting nominations for a new SCUFN Member, the
Secretariat of the SCUFN has been informed that Commander (Lic.) Walter REYNOSO-
PERALTA, Hydrographic Service of the Argentinian Navy (SHN), will no longer be available to
continue serving SCUFN as a Member.
2. Therefore, in application of the procedure given in the Circular Letter, reference A,
Member States are requested to consider nominating suitable experts to fill the now two
vacancies (Deadline: 15 March 2020), preferably using the IHO Online Form System (see
Reference B) by accessing the following link:

3. Member States are also invited to note that the SCUFN Chair has started investigations
to find a venue for the SCUFN-33 meeting with Monaco as a back-up plan, as Buenos Aires,
Argentina is no longer an available venue.
4. The IHO Secretariat takes this opportunity to thank Commander (Lic.) Walter
REYNOSO-PERALTA for his active engagement in SCUFN activities, in the development of
the English/Spanish version of Publication B-6, as well as SHN for having sponsored him for
almost fifteen years.
