Palume teie organisatsiooni toetust meie projektile. Nõukogu kirjeldus projektitaotluses: 3.2.3 Advisory Board The external Advisory Board provides specialist advice to the Project Coordinator and Project Management Team on specific topics addressed by the project (e.g. relevance to national science and innovation priorities, engagement with the private sector, etc.) The Advisory Board will comprise of senior figures from relevant public and private organisations (see “Letters of Support” in the Annexes): Juhul, kui Kaidi on nõus sellega, siis palun see lisada toetuskirja lõppu sellekohane märge. Näiteks: "Should the project get funded, Ms Kaidi Katus, Deputy Director General of Estonian Maritime Administration, would also accept to serve on the advisory board of the Centre for Maritime Cybersecurity." Kui on küsimusi projekti või toetuse osas, siis palun helistada mulle telefonil 506 2783. Soovime esitada taotluse 13. novembri õhtul. In case the project will be funded by the Horizon 2020 programme, Estonian Maritime Administration would be interested in collaborating with the TalTech -based ERA Chair Professor and h is/her team. We believe that the Centre for Maritime Cybers ecurity would be a good addition and the ERA Chair hold and his/her team would come into a good place. TalTech has a strong interest in strengthening its research potential and Estonia i s one of the l eading Cybers ecurity countries. The Maritime Administration of Estonia is a governmental agency operating within the area of government of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications . Among others one of t he main functions of the Administration is creating conditions for ensuring the safety and security of water traffic in Estonian maritime waters and navigable inland waters , and participating in the development of policies, strategies and development plans related to the activities of the Administration . Therefore, the Estonian Maritime Administration is interested in collaboration with The ERA Chair in regard to improving the cybersecurity in the maritime domain. Estonia is strategically a very good location to establish a Centre in Maritime Cybersecurity , not only because it is bordering with countries of different political interest. In this sense the ERA Chair professor and her/his group would come in a very vibrant eco-system. Estonian Maritime Administration is very interested in safer and securer operation and navigation of the vessels and therefore supports the development of Centre for Maritime Cybersecurity. Should the project be funded by the Horizon 2020 Secretariat, we will follow its implementation and support its work and research. Yours Sincerely, Marek Rauk Head of Maritime Safety Division Deputy Director General
