Dear Ms. Repp,
Our customer wants to install DMR base stations to Helsinki Olympic
Stadium
on frequencies
BsTx / BsRx = 420,075 / 410,075 MHz
BsTx / BsRx = 420,2375 / 410,2375 MHz
BsTx / BsRx = 420,725 / 410,725 MHz
The full technical characteristic for the base stations and for the
related
mobile stations have be attached as file
"Helsinki-Taka-Töölö_PMR_410-421_MHz.txt" in ITU T12/T13 format.
These base stations were originally used only indoors and therefore, in
past, their frequencies were selected from the preferential channels of
Estonia, since as indoor transmitters they do not generate any noticeable
field strength in Estonia. However, now our customer wants to install
them
outdoors and of course, this exceeds the trigger coordination field
strength
of 10 dBuV/m along the Estonian northern coast. Our customer prefers not
to
change the frequencies, since that would mean a lot of reprogramming of
existing mobile terminals and readjustments of base station filters.
To make it easy for our customer, we now turn to our Estonian colleagues
and
ask for a possible coordination of the Estonian preferential channels to
be
used at the Helsinki Olympic Stadium. We understand the possible
difficulties in accepting the coordination request and could even agree
to
possible reduction of the radiated power, if so needed.
