ln the event of a successful outcome to the application for tender currently being prepared by
the Academy of European Law (ERA), in the framework of this project I would like to express
the availability of my institution.
. to forward the application of judges / prosecutors targeted by the training programme
organised by ERA,
. to raise awareness at national level of the training materials, presentations and e-
learning courses developed by ERA.
Reasons whv mv institution is suitable to plav this role:
The Supreme Court of Estonia is responsible for initial and continuous training of judges and
court staff in Estonia. The Judicial Training Department of the Supreme Court ascertains the
training needs of judges, prepares the strategies for training, training programs and organises
the implementation thereof. The Department also provides judges information on international
trainings and is responsible for the selection of Estonian participants.
