Saatja: Hertig Wolfram <[email protected]> Saaja: Info, Hülshörster Stefan, Rosa Ruslana, Tegeder Katharina Teema: TAIEX Project Ukraine Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, In the framework of a TAIEX project “Online diplomacy and digitalization of international cooperation in the context of COVID-19” planned for the Supreme Court in Ukraine we are looking for experts who would in principle be willing to participate in this project. (Of course, the project should now be seen less in the context of the pandemic than in the context of war, in which online diplomacy is also very important). For further information please find enclosed the TAIEX application and the draft agenda of the planned one day online workshop (The date of the workshop is still to be decided). The focus is on the international cooperation of a court in online format. For the Supreme Court’s Division of the International and Legal Cooperation it will certainly be interesting how the Supreme Court of Estonia manages these challenges. IRZ is not directly involved in this project. We only promised to find some experts that we will suggest to the TAIEX Unit of the European Commission. Do you think one or two experts of the Supreme Court of Estonia (e.g. from the International Department) will be interested to participate together with another expert from an EU Member State we are still looking for? The details of the distribution of topics mentioned in the draft agenda can still be agreed in further planning. Certainly, some topics can be adapted and reformulated.
