Dear representatives of the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, I am reaching out to you in order to introduce myself - I am Mindaugas Liutvinskas, Wolt's new Public Policy Manager for the Baltics. Before joining Wolt, I was the Deputy Minister of Finance of Lithuania, so I have deep sympathies for the public sector and believe in the value of constructive dialogue between policymakers and market players. I thus hope that we will be able to establish open communication lines with you and your Ministry. As I am sure you know, the issue of transposition of the EU Platform Work Directive (PWD) is of key importance to platforms like Wolt and we are very much open to engagement with the authorities on this. I would be grateful if we could have an introductory meeting at some point in the near future, touching upon PWD process and related issues. In fact, I am planning a visit to Tallinn on 11 June - if possible, we could use this opportunity for kicking-off our dialogue. I will be looking forward to your response.
