The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia has the honour to invite to attend the international conference dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Latvia and the 25th anniversary of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Latvia to be held on 15-16 September 2022 in Rīga, Latvia. The title of the conference is "Sustainability as a Constitutional Value: Future Challenges." The Conference will be organised in three main panel discussions: firstly, Sustainability of democracy: how to prevent threats to democracy in a democratic way?; secondly, Sustainability of fundamental rights: adapting fundamental rights to the age of modern technology; and thirdly, Environmental sustainability: a political choice or a matter of fundamental rights? The Conference will serve as a forum to discuss the important issues of sustainability of constitutional values in a changing world. The detailed programme and registration form has been attached.
