Hello Zarina,
I confirm that I have received your e-mail and today will deal with the Easy Access System Project OÜ (EAS project) application.
As the application is in pdf format, I'm asking if it's ok if I print out the application and fill in section 2 by hand or is there another way I can do it on the computer?
I would also like to know if it is ok if I sign the standard letter confirming that the EAS Project is a private entity registered under Estonian national laws and regulations letter digitally or you want it signed on paper and scanned in?
Best regards,
Margus Kasepalu

Subject: [UPU CC]: Recommendation Letter for EAS Project
Importance: High
Dear Mr. Kasepalu,
I trust this email finds you well.
My name is Zarina, and I work with the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Consultative Committee (CC) Secretariat. It is a pleasure to e-meet you!
The UPU CC consists of over 45 participating members from Wider Postal Sector Players (WPSP) who are eager to share their knowledge and expertise for the development of the postal industry.
As you may be aware, Easy Access System Project Oü (EAS Project) has expressed interest in joining the UPU CC as a Silver Member (please see the email below). One of the requirements for CC membership is obtaining authorization or a recommendation from a UPU member country—specifically, the ministry responsible for postal services or the relevant regulator.
Attached you will find a letter from the UPU Director General, providing a detailed explanation of the UPU CC, including an extract from the UPU General Regulations. Also attached is the application form submitted by the EAS Project, which has been completed except for section : "2. Authorization", along with the extract from the Estonian business register.
Taking the abovementioned into consideration, I kindly ask you to review the application form and complete the relevant section “2. Authorization”.
Additionally, the CC Secretariat would greatly appreciate it if you could provide a standard letter confirming that the EAS Project is a private entity registered under Estonian national laws and regulations.
Should you require any further information or documentation from the EAS Project, please do not hesitate to let us know. We would be happy to provide any additional details needed.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or require clarification.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation, and I look forward to your response!
Best regards,
Zarina Saukenova

Subject: Request for Recommendation Letter for UPU Consultative Committee Membership
Dear Mr Kasepalu,
I hope this letter finds you well.
Easy Access System Project Oü (16244595) is in the process of applying for membership in the Universal Postal Union (UPU) Consultative Committee (CC). As part of the application requirements for joining a United Nations agency, we are required to obtain a written recommendation from the competent ministry confirming our registration as an entity operating under Estonian national laws and regulations.
Given that the Estonian Competition Authority is the relevant regulatory body overseeing the Estonian market, we kindly request a formal letter of recommendation confirming our status. This recommendation will support our application to the UPU CC, allowing us to engage in discussions on global postal sector matters and contribute to international postal policymaking.
If there are any specific requirements or procedures we need to follow to obtain this recommendation, please let us know. We would be happy to provide any additional information necessary to facilitate this request.
We appreciate your time and consideration and look forward to your response at your earliest convenience.
Best regards,
Teemu Konttinen
