Kairit Püüa Saatja: Kairit Püüa Saatmisaeg: neljapäev, 8. detsember 2016 15:47 Adressaat: '[email protected]' Koopia: Karin Hanga; Mare Naaber Teema: ICF workshop in Estonia Manused: ICF_workshop_Astangu.pdf Dear Heidi, I am writing to you from Astangu Vocational Rehabilitation Center in Estonia, where we are interested in implementing ICF in the field of rehabilitation and assessment of assistive technology. At the moment we have compiled a project team (project leader, rehabilitation specialists, experts and IT specialist) and started to develop an IT based instrument for using ICF core-sets and documenting files (ICF categorical profile, intervention table, evaluation display; all in Estonian language). As one of our aims is to integrate the assessment of persons´ functioning with the assessment of the need for assistive devices, we have linked ICF „d“ codes and ISO-9999 classificators. We hope to develop a functioning prototype of the assessment instrument at the beginning of 2017 and continue with piloting with rehabilitation teams in different regions of Estonia. Our purpose is to make assessment and documentation in the field of rehabilitation more easier, functional and comparable for different specialists (in social, medical and vocational rehabilitation), and also more understandable for the person, who is an active party in the assessment process. Our research group sees a great need for a universal tool, which would unite different specialists and services. We have composed an analysis about the use of ICF in different countries and have come to a knowledge that Finland has implemented ICF in the regional and local level and that you use electronical documentation forms based on the ICF, core-sets and WHO.DAS 2.0. We are in the beginning phase with our development and our project team needs training (ICF methodology, using core- sets, ICF in rehabilitation management etc). We have thought about 2-3 days training for 15 participants, hopefully in February 2017. Would it be possible for you to make a bid for conducting an ICF workshop for us? I added a pdf document to the letter about the requirements for the trainer, our expectations and topics considering the workshop. When compiling the bid, please note the exact information and requirements we have pointed out in the invitation document about the course. Please note that we expect the proposed budget to include all necessary costs concerning the training and Astangu VRC will pay for travel and accommodation costs. We will be waiting for your official bid by January 2nd (02.01.2017). Unfortunately we cannot accept offers that cross the deadline. It is very important that you send us all the documents that we require, otherwise we won’t be able to consider your offer and justify our decision on choosing a trainer. If you need any additional information, please contact me. Yours sincerely, Kairit Püüa 1 Project leader Together we can create a better life every day, with every thought and action Astangu Vocational Rehabilitation Centre [email protected] Astangu 27 Tallinn 13519 www.astangu.ee facebook.com/astangu 2
