From 19 to 22 March 2019 the sixth Specialized Training on “The Inspection of Passenger
Ships” will take place in Turku, Finland. The programme will focus on the specific issues
related to PSC Inspections on Passenger ships. Where necessary the programme has been
updated and improved. The programme has been developed in co-operation with the
Finnish Maritime Authority, Denmark, ROs, and others involved in the construction and
maintenance of Passenger ships.
I would like to invite one experienced PSC officer, who wants to enhance their knowledge on
Passenger ships, to take part in this programme. Please use the forms on the internal
website of the Paris MoU to register your participant. Please make sure that the registration
form is returned to the Secretariat by 21 February 2019.
All relevant information about the training, including the registration form, has been placed
on the internal website.
