CASE STUDY
Preventive repair
of a failing turbo
The Marfle Fleet Analytics noticed a declining trend
in the boost pressure of Finnpilot’s twin-engine
vessel. After receiving the analysis from Marfle,
Finnpilot installed a turbo repair kit in the under-
performing engine. Using the Marfle real-time
dashboard Finnpilot was immediately able to verify
the fix and monitor the correct operation of the
engine.

Teema: Marfle - Advanced Remote Monitoring Systems for Workboats
Hello Taivo,
Before we had reached out Eestin Valtio, but I would like to introduce ourselves shortly again. Attached
is a presentation and brochures.
Marfle is a Finnish company which provides advanced remote monitoring systems for
workboats. Finnpilot (Finnish state pilotage organization) is our largest customer. They use our
system in more than 80 vessels. System is also being used by many CTV companies from UK and
some lifeboat institutions, boarder guards and maritime administrations in Nordic countries.

pilot-boats/
Basically, system helps vessel owners reduce their fuel consumption, make the control the fleet
easier and improve engine health.
We achieve these by analysing engine data continuously. We provide real-time analysis.
System works online. It is accessible with any device like mobile phones which has internet
connection.
We have cases in which we predicted possible engine failures.
We are selected as one of the best start-ups in Helsinki:
