During your internship, Karli Kontson and Kristjan Lill will be your designated supervisors and guide you through the program. The agreed focus and activities of your internship include: Gaining familiarity with our university facilities, specifically the road engineering research laboratory; Engaging in discussions with one of our independent doctoral students on relevant topics, particularly the investigation of resilient deformations in coarse soils using a cyclic triaxial apparatus; Allocating time for dissertation writing; Presenting the findings of your dissertation to the university community, if possible and applicable.
