Dear Sirs, The International and Regional Cooperation Department of the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation (UCF) presents its compliments and has the honor to address with the following. Established in 2017, the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation is a state entity dedicated to the development of culture and arts in Ukraine, primarily through the provision of grants. Our mission is to nurture cultural diversity and foster the integration of Ukrainian culture into the global milieu. For a comprehensive understanding of our activities, we have enclosed a presentation and invite you to visit our website at ucf.in.ua and presentation. Our experience at UCF includes managing regranting schemes aimed at socio-cultural organizations and artists. Our involvement in such a consortium would undoubtedly enhance international networking, outreach, and create further opportunities for cultural professionals. This year we intend to implement our project “Cultural Space”, a Pan-European communication platform aimed at promoting cultural projects. This platform functions as an intuitive catalogue or "marketplace," showcasing a variety of projects open for support. It facilitates direct communication between project creators and potential partners. Cultural Space serves as both a crowdfunding and crowdsourcing platform, engaging individuals and legal entities (P2P, P2B) in supporting initiatives not only financially but also through service contributions. Its purpose is to foster partnerships and cultivate international cooperation in the cultural and creative industries. For a more comprehensive understanding, please refer to the detailed presentation of the Platform attached. Additionally, a beta version of the platform has already been developed in cooperation with SoftServe and is accessible at https://culturalspace.in.ua/. The project is an ambitious attempt to find sustainable solutions for a range of critical areas: ● Support the sustainability of local communities by providing them with instruments for sustainable activity; ● Enhance the resilience of local cultural heritage and local cultural network of the EU members and Ukraine; ● Develop the expertise of local cultural managers by designing educational courses and self-education tools; ● Enhance the capacity of local cultural agents to establish national and international partnerships; ● Strengthen the role of the cultural sector as a driver of economic and social development, inclusiveness, and citizen involvement; ● Promote intercultural dialogue and peaceful relations among communities, fostering specific knowledge exchange among countries; ● Enhance local government and cultural sector improvement by supporting regulatory processes and dialogue on advocacy ● Build the capacity of cultural agents to provide high-quality services; ● Raise awareness on internationalization among national cultural agents of the EU members and Ukraine; ● Promote human capital development and enhance the competitiveness and impact of cultural-creative industries in the EU members and Ukraine. To implement our Project we are eagerly preparing an aplication for the EU program Creative Europe grant and are seeking to cooperate with partners from EU countries. We are specifically targeting the European cooperation project lot (medium scale). Application deadline - 23d of January 2024. In collaboration, we aim to conduct an information campaign for a shared European future, stimulate Ukrainian-EU cross-sectoral partnerships, create innovative cultural products, and foster new cultural ties between Ukrainian and EU organizations. We would be delighted to meet online (Zoom) to discuss this grant cooperation and other potential collaborations at your earliest convenience. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us via this email address - [email protected] . For your convenience please follow the link to get more information about Creative Europe grants https://culture.ec.europa.eu/calls/european-cooperation-projects-medium-scale Also, please find attached to this letter additional information about our Project “Cultural Space”.
