NAVICO® AND C-MAP ANNOUNCE MERGER
Egersund, Norway – Navico – the world’s largest manufacturer of marine electronics and C-
MAP – a leading supplier of digital navigation products to the recreational and commercial
marine market – announced today that they have merged. Effective immediately, C-MAP
will become another powerful brand in the Navico portfolio -- alongside Lowrance®, Simrad®
and B&G®. The merger will accelerate the companies’ shared ambition to create the world’s
biggest digital marine ecosystem and deliver the best experiences for customers around the
world.

Dear Valued C-MAP dKart User,
I am writing to you to inform you that with the attached press release, NAVICO and the C-MAP
Group have announced their merger.
This step represents the natural integration of the two sister companies that have been
operating in close synergy under a common ownership. The C-MAP brand will now feature in
NAVICO’s portfolio to identify all operations, fleet, vessel, cartography other data products.
Digital Marine Solutions Holding AS and most C-MAP subsidiaries will continue to exist as
separate legal entities within the new NAVICO Group.
If any changes where to occur to the Group’s corporate structure that will affect our
arrangement, we will duly inform you.
However, over the next few weeks you are to expect some changes in our email addresses. We
are working to make sure that the transition will be as smooth as possible and keep any
inconvenience to a minimum.
We, in C-MAP, feel very excited about this change as it will allow us to bring to market technical
