Astangu Vocational Rehabilitation Centre is looking for a trainer for a course “Training course for
supported employment trainers”. The course is funded by ESF (ESF funded conditions for granting
support “Welfare measures supporting participation in the labour market 2015 – 2020” activity 2.1.3
“Developing rehabilitation-based assessment and intervention methodologies and offering training”).
Aim of the course: Developing and spreading supported employment methodology through training
trainers in order to offer systematic support for specialists dealing with employment of people with
reduced work ability.
Target group: Specialists who support people with disabilities in gaining employment.
Course information:
Number of course participants: up to 10 people;
Workload: 5 ECTS (2 ECTS lectures, 3 ECTS independent study);
Timeframe: 1st part in May or in June 2015, 2nd part in August 2015;
The course will be held in Finnish or English; Astangu Vocational Rehabilitation Centre will
provide translation;
Location: Astangu Vocational Rehabilitation Centre, Tallinn;
Costs (such as trainers’ salaries and the cost of all study materials, accommodation,
transportation) will be covered by Astangu Vocational Rehabilitation Centre.
Training topics:
Supported employment methodology and principles;
Compiling a vocational profile, individual plan and motivating the client;
Finding, evaluating and matching job opportunities;
Cooperating with, and motivating employers;
Supporting the client in the workplace, techniques for teaching job skills;
Characteristics of a high-quality service.
Requirements for trainers:
3 years’ experience in conducting similar trainings;
5 years’ experience in supporting people with disabilities in gaining employment;
Good working knowledge of English.
Trainers are expected to:
Compile the course curriculum;
Compile training materials based on the curriculum;
Ensure that training participants will receive necessary course materials;
Ensure quality training for a previously agreed number of training participants;
Provide training participants with guidelines and tasks for, and feedback on independent work;
Provide training participants with a certificate upon finishing the training;
Give permission for translating and using the course materials in Estonia.

Description of trainers’ work experience in supporting people with disabilities in gaining
employment;
List of similar trainings conducted within the last 3 years, with target groups and course
workload amounts;
CVs of the trainers;
Course plan describing topics and proposed dates for the course;
Proposed budget (without VAT), including:
1. Trainers’ salaries and the cost of study materials
2. Travel and accommodation costs
3. Other costs (please describe)
On proposed budget please provide exclusively full price without costs details.
Further information
Both the price and the content of the course will be taken into account when choosing the
winning bid.
We will provide funding in two instalments.
