Environmental Investments. To ensure the quality of education, the Ministry of Climate, in cooperation with the
Estonian Environmental Education Association (NGO), has developed a 3-level quality system for environmental and
climate education, from which the evaluation of study programs has been implemented. The educator`s competency
model and self-evaluation tool have also been prepared. The aim of the project is the development of the quality
system: the implementation of the online version of the self-evaluation tool for educators and the creation of a quality
model for the environmental education centre. This project participants and main target group are members of
Estonian Environmental Education Association, (NGO).
The other partner is the Natural history Museum, University of Bergen, Norway. Experiences are shared and quality
systems are developed within the framework of cooperation.
The main activities are environmental educators training courses and seminars, development of digital study material
and compiling one-pagers to introduce environmental education quality program for study programs, self-evaluation
tool for educators and environmental education centres quality model.
The Ministry of Climate is responsible for the communication of this project, and the dissemination of the results will
