Participation in study programs is financed by the state through the Center for Environmental Investments. To ensure the quality of education, the Ministry of Climate, in cooperation with the Estonian Environmental Education Association (NGO), has developed a 3-level quality system for environmental and climate education, from which the evaluation of study programs has been implemented. The educator`s competency model and self-evaluation tool have also been prepared. The aim of the project is the development of the quality system: the implementation of the online version of the self-evaluation tool for educators and the creation of a quality model for the environmental education centre. This project participants and main target group are members of Estonian Environmental Education Association, (NGO). The other partner is the Natural history Museum, University of Bergen, Norway. Experiences are shared and quality systems are developed within the framework of cooperation. The main activities are environmental educators training courses and seminars, development of digital study material and compiling one-pagers to introduce environmental education quality program for study programs, self-evaluation tool for educators and environmental education centres quality model. The Ministry of Climate is responsible for the communication of this project, and the dissemination of the results will also take place through the network of the Estonian Environmental Education Association.
