INN) 2 on the WHO website at https://www.who.int/teams/health-product- and-policy-standards/inn/inn-lists. In accordance with Article 8 of the above-mentioned Procedure, the World Health Organization requests that the above-mentioned list of names be recognized as the nonproprietary names for the substances in question, and that the necessary steps be taken to prevent the acquisition of proprietary rights in the names, including prohibition of registration of the names as trademarks or tradenames.
