Hello, My name is Isabel, and I am a master’s student at the TIK Centre of Technology, Innovation and Knowledge at the University of Oslo, conducting research on the development and governance of Estonia’s X-Road infrastructure. My thesis examines: * how X-Road has evolved as a national digital infrastructure * which technological and organisational choices have shaped its development * and how Estonia balances innovation with digital sovereignty Since the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications plays a key role in setting the strategic direction, regulatory framework and long-term vision for Estonia’s digital state, your perspective would be extremely valuable for my research. I would be very grateful for the opportunity to conduct a short 45-60 minute interview with a representative who works with digital government, interoperability, data governance or the national digital strategy. The interview will be fully voluntary, and participants remain anonymous. If this is of interest, I would be happy to adapt to any date or time that suits your team.
