Subject: XVIII Congress of CECC in Prague - 2nd Correspondence Voting
Dear colleagues,
First of all, we would like to renew to you our most cordial greetings. We are well aware of the difficulties of the present-day. The more so we hope you and your close ones are in good health.
Despite the many challenges that surround us today, we firmly believe it will be possible to hold the XVIII Congress of CECC in Prague in the approved date 24 – 26 February 2021.
Nonetheless, we had to adjust our timetable of planning and we will have to be very flexible on many other issues. Out of practical reasons, Mr. Pavel Rychetský, President of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, proposes a revision of the List of Observers and Guests for the XVIII Congress of CECC (which was approved in Prague in preparation of the XVIII Congress of CECC on June 13, 2018).
Please, find attached the letter by Mr. Pavel Rychetský, President of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic, addressed to the Circle of Presidents of CECC. The letter contains a call for the decisions of the Circle of Presidents to be taken by way of a circular resolution.
We would like to ask you kindly to forward the letter and voting protocol (please, select your language version) to the President/Chief Justice of your esteemed institution as soon as possible. Please, note, the response (vote) shall be returned by 9 December 2020 and should be signed by the head of your Court.
We also attach to this e-mail a letter by Mr. Dainius Žalimas, President of the Constitutional Court of Lithuania, and we kindly ask you to forward this document to your President/Chief Justice as well.
