As reported in the Reference, the Italian Hydrographic Institute (IIM) agreed to produce a third video clip aimed at encouraging young people to consider a career in hydrography. Member States were also invited to forward any suitable video footage and images to the IHO. 2. The Secretary-General would like to thank all those who have contributed to making this video possible and especially the Italian Hydrographic Institute for their generosity in compiling all of these informative and useful videos that highlight the importance of hydrography. 3. We would like to encourage Member States to distribute and promote these videos in the interest of creating awareness of hydrography and attracting young people.
