On behalf o f the M inistry o f Culture and Tourism o f the Republic o f Uzbekistan, I would
like to express my sincere gratitude and have the honor to invite You as an honored guest to the
III International Bakhshi Art Festival, which will be held on May 5-8, 2023 in Gulistan
(Uzbekistan).
The International Bakhshi Art Festival was initiated by the President o f the Republic o f
Uzbekistan Ii.E. Mr. Shavkat M irziyoyev in order to preserve and popularize traditional throat
singing music, prom ote intercultural dialogue and develop cultural diversity.
The program o f the event includes unique performances o f throat singing from more than
30 countries, as well as the International Conference on “Contem porary bakhshi art: new
tones of golden heritage” .
We kindly ask your assistance in attracting artistic team s to participate in this festival, as
well as your scientists join to conference (online/offline). All participation expenses
of 1 performer and 1 scientist will be covered by the host.
Please, note that confirm ation o f participation should be delivered by April 21, 2023
to the Department o f International Cooperation and Ratings o f MCT.
