Dear Ambassador,
Please find attached an updated statement of contributions for the year 2022 together with
copies of the unpaid additional catis for contributions.
May I remind you that according to Article 39 of the Statute, the additional contributions are
payable six months after the date of notification.
By decision of the Committee of Ministers, late payment interest wili accrue on the amount of
the additional contribution remaining unpaid only as from 1st May 2023.
Mem ber States that have not paid their entire contribution before 01/05/2023 wilI be required
to pay simple monthly interest of 0.5% on the amounts remaining unpaid on the first day of
each of the following six months and 1% on the amount remaining unpaid on the first day of
each month thereafter.
I would also remind you that your authorities have not given instructions as to the allocation
of the 2022 EDQM credit balance (€198860).
Please let us know if you wish this amount to be reimbursed, to be considered as a payment
to any 2022 additional contributions, to any of the 2023 budgets, or to be allocated in a
different manner.
