Subject: OECD Enforcement & Inspection conference
Dear RPC Delegates,
Please find attached an invitation to the
Enforcement & Inspection conference to be held on 9 November 2017 at the OECD conference centre in Paris.
This conference, organised in conjunction with the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (United Kingdom), aims to bring together policy makers,
experts and practitioners in the area of enforcement and inspection.
We would like to ask our RPC delegates to pass on this invitation within your government to others who would be interested in participating in this conference,
in particular to bodies and agencies responsible for enforcing regulations and inspections in various areas. We would like to create a rich and varied group of interlocutors for this full-day event and count on your support to help identify relevant contacts.
For any further questions or should you need a personalised invitation, please contact
Daniel Trnka.
Best regards,

Invitation to the Enforcement & Inspections conference of the Regulatory Policy Committee,
9 November 2017
In the context of the Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC) meetings, we will be holding an Enforcement &
Inspections conference on 9 November 2017 in Paris, France. I would like to invite you to participate in this
event.
The workshop will gather policy makers and experts responsible for the "better regulation" agenda with
practitioners involved in regulatory enforcement and inspections and enable the exchange of experience among
them to share approaches to inspections and their reforms. The conference aims to achieve these objectives
through a set of country presentations as well as through an open discussion among participants. The OECD
Secretariat will also present a new OECD Toolkit for Regulatory Enforcement and Inspections, offering political
decision-makers, government officials, regulators, stakeholders and experts a simple tool to assess the level of
development of their inspection and enforcement system.
Should you require further information on the meetings please contact Daniel Trnka (
[email protected]).
I hope to see you in Paris in November.
Yours sincerely,
Nick Malyshev
