B. IHO CL 46/2017 dated 2 August - Outcome of the 15th Meeting of the Capacity Building Sub‐ Committee (CBSC15) Dear Hydrographer, 1. In accordance with Reference A, the ninth meeting of the IHO Inter-Regional Coordination Committee (IRCC9) took place in Paramaribo, Suriname from 12 to 14 June 2017, hosted by the Maritime Authority of Suriname (MAS). The meeting was chaired by Dr Parry Oei (Singapore) and attended by the Chairs or representatives of the 15 Regional Hydrographic Commissions (RHCs), the subordinate bodies of the IRCC and 15 observers. A total of 34 participants from 21 countries were present. 2. The minutes of IRCC9, together with the list of decisions and actions arising from the meeting and their current status, and the IRCC work programme for 2017-2018 are now available from the IRCC section of the IHO website (www.iho.int > Committees & WG > IRCC > IRCC9). Next meeting 3. The 10th meeting of IRCC (IRCC10) will be held from 4 to 6 June 2018 in Goa, India. Representatives of Member States who may require a visa are advised to submit their applications well in advance. IRCC10 will be preceded by the 16th meeting of the Capacity Building Sub-Committee from 30 May to 1 June 2018 which will also be held in Goa, as announced in Reference B.
