Dear Janek and Azar,
Thank you for your enquiry and sorry for huge delay!
I discussed the matter with colleagues who represent our Regulatory Authority on FM meetings. Unfortunately we
do not have representative on FM44 and thus cannot rise this matter there.
I hope you can find a Regulatory Authority who has representative on FM44.
With Best Regards,
Andres Teeäär

Subject: Myriota Satellite Service in Europe
Dear Andres,
I am writing to you to introduce the Myriota satellite service, and seek your assistance in engaging in the CEPT
process to review relevant ECC Decisions.
Myriota offers its satellite-based IoT services globally through 4 satellites currently in orbit. The constellation will be
completed by up to 50 satellites in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) in the Mobile Satellite Service (MSS), offering services
around the world, including in CEPT countries. These satellites will utilise the 137-138 MHz (space-to-Earth) and 148-
150.05 MHz (Earth-to-space) VHF bands, as well as the 399.9-400.05 MHz (Earth-to-space) and 400.15-401 MHz
(space-to-Earth) UHF bands. Compatibility studies with incumbent services in these frequency bands are ongoing,
with the aim of producing a replacement ECC report to ERC Report 87 and final inclusion in ERC/DEC/(99)06.
We plan to provide the Myriota service in Estonia. The frequencies to be used are subject to ECC Decision (99)06
which is currently under review in FM44, and Myriota is seeking to be included in that review. However, the
Decision requires interested administrations to put forward applicant systems. Would your administration consider
submitting the Myriota system for inclusion in the studies? This step places no obligation on your administration,
and we recognise that it does not provide Myriota with any regulatory approval. However, it will enable us to
resolve compatibility with other systems in the ECC forum and participate in the update of the Decision.

Myriota is currently working with a UK-based consultancy, Access Partnership, who are assisting us in this regulatory
work. If you have any questions, I can ask Azar or Tamer from Access Partnership to contact you to discuss any
further details.
I hope you will be able to assist us, and I thank you in advance for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Janek
