I am writing to invite you to our annual CEE Innovation Day that takes place in Warsaw on 13 December. More specifically, we will be organising a panel discussion around the Innovation Club, where we have already secured speakers from other involved countries: Vice Minister for Digital and Transport of Germany Stefan Schnorr, Vice Minister of Smart Administration and Regional Development of Latvia Gatis Ozols, and are currently working on securing a speaker from Lithuania (pending election result). We would love to see you or someone from your Ministry to represent Estonia in this important discussion. The overall conference will be an excellent opportunity for top policy stakeholders from Central and Eastern Europe to meet and exchange thoughts around the direction of European digital and economic policy. We have prepared a rich program with sessions dedicated to European competitiveness and innovation and the CEE’s role in shaping the EU digital agenda. Our speakers will also debate topics such as data strategy and the development of AI and other disruptive technologies in Europe. Numerous other high profile guests have already confirmed their presence, including experts, businesses, associations but also policymakers: the Minister of Digital Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister of Poland Krzysztof Gawkowski, Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digitalisation of Romania Bogdan-Gruia Ivan, Latvia's Minister of Economics Viktors Valainis, US Ambassador to Poland H. E. Mark Brzezinski, Grzegorz Napieralski, MP, Vice-Chairman of the Parliamentary Digitisation, Innovation, and New Technologies Committee, Chairman of the Parliamentary AI and Algorithm Clarity Subcommittee in Poland and Victoria Milanova, Head of IT, Information Society and EU Coordination Directorate at Ministry of e-Governance of Bulgaria. Right before the opening ceremony, on the sidelines of the breakfast session, we will also host a closed-door meeting between 10:15-11:00 attended by our most distinguished guests to discuss the key themes of the conference. This will be an opportunity to raise questions and discuss thoughts and ideas in a private setting. Further details regarding the event, including the agenda and information on other speakers, are available on the conference <https://events.atmeta.com/ceeinnovationday?gz=none&full_url=https%3A%2F%2 Fevents.atmeta.com%2Fceeinnovationday%3Fgz%3Dnone> page, <https://events.atmeta.com/ceeinnovationday?gz=none&full_url=https%3A%2F%2 Fevents.atmeta.com%2Fceeinnovationday%3Fgz%3Dnone> <https://events.atmeta.com/ceeinnovationday?gz=none&full_url=https%3A%2F%2 Fevents.atmeta.com%2Fceeinnovationday%3Fgz%3Dnone> which we will be updating on a regular basis. Please let me know if you will be able to come to Warsaw, or whether you are able to delegate this request to another person in your Ministry. Looking forward to hearing back.
