Due to the restrictions introduced in order to stop the COVID-19 epidemic we have no choice but to cancel the original term of the XVIIIth Congress in May. Nevertheless, we truly hope the situation will get better soon. Therefore, the President of the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic Mr. Pavel Rychetský proposes to postpone the XVIIIth Congress for a more convenient date, namely for February 2021. Please, find attached the letter addressed to the President/Chief Justice of your esteemed Court, which contains a call for the decisions of the Circle of Presidents to be taken by way of a circular resolution. We would like to ask you most kindly to forward this letter to the President/Chief Justice of you Court as soon as possible. Please, note, the response (vote) shall be returned by 15 April 2020.
